The Day I Cooked Homemade Burgers

Herself has two jerseys to auction off on air this week, both from the 2009 All-Ireland senior hurling final. The Kilkenny jersey is signed by Tommy Walsh (0-1) and the Tipperary jersey signed by Eoin Kelly (0-13). They were in our sitting room this morning but currently residing at the KCLR studios.

The walls of Esquires coffee shop on High Street are usually found with works from local and visiting artists, like this one.

Had to stop in during the day to pick up a mass card. I remember singing here for a Sunday mass service maybe 11 or 12 years ago, likely the last time I stepped foot in the door too.

My first attempt (yes) at homemade burgers. Steak mince, pork mince, onion, blue cheese, soy sauce, lime, salt, pepper, oh so tender and tasty. Will post a recipe over on Any Given Food over the weekend.
Note: This post appearing means I’m working my way back through the August photos, all will be backdated accordingly. There’s always time to take a photo in the day, even if you don’t get to the blog straight away (or within 31 days).
